The Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation respects the right of individuals to the protection of personal data, in accordance with the provisions of European Regulation 2016/679 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data.

What personal data do we collect?

The Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation aims to minimize the collection and processing of personal data, out of respect for dignity, for the right to autonomy of individuals.

However, due to the nature of our business, it is inevitable that we will not collect certain data, such as:

• personal data: name and surname, email, telephone number, sex, age, ethnicity, employer, profession / position; data from the identity card (CNP, series & number, full address, issuing body, period of validity), CVs, criminal record, copy of ID, signature; bank details: IBAN, name of bank and branch;
• data of legal entities: name, registered office address, office address, CUI, IBAN, name of legal representative / administrator, logos.
• IP, the region / city in which the device from which you are accessing the site and / or FB page is located.

 

How do we collect personal data?

The Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation owns a website (www.mihaieminescutrust.ro), as well as a Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/MihaiEminescuTrust/) that have associated Google Analytics accounts. The data we collect through this tool is IP, the region / city in which the device from which you are accessing the site is located. You can refuse to retain this data by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We also collect data through:

• Lists of participation in events, trainings, local workshops, conferences, etc;
• Google forms, transportation return forms, agreements signed by parents for their children’s participation in various project activities, application forms, partnership agreements, activity reports;
• Sponsorship / financing / employment contracts;
• Individual employment contracts;
• 2% Income Tax Redemption Form (Form 230; Form 200), Donation Commitments

 

How do we use the personal data we collect?

The data collected are used exclusively for the purpose of fulfilling the mission of the Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation and to carry out the projects and activities that contribute to the achievement of this mission.

For example, the data can be used:

• in relation to public or private funders, in order to demonstrate the achievement of the indicators and the results assumed within a project;

• in order to communicate the activities of the organization, such as: invitation to an event, invitation to sign a petition, open letters, call for donations, advocacy campaigns;

• in order to make personalized recommendations to public institutions, adapted to the needs of our beneficiaries;

• in order to invite participation in research on topics of public interest.

 

Who has access to personal data?

Personal data can be accessed by:

• Employees, collaborators or volunteers of the organization, whose contract provides for the right to collect and process personal data on behalf of the organization, exclusively for the duration of the contract and for the purpose defined by this policy.
• Partners in the implementation of projects, with which the organization has concluded an agreement that is subject to the laws and regulations of Romania and the European Union, if the performance of an activity is conditioned by the partner’s access to personal data collected, exclusively during project implementation.
• Public or private financiers, sponsors, only if the contractual clauses of the financier / sponsor provide for this obligation.

 

How long is personal data processed?

The data are used until the end of the project for which they were collected and for a period of up to 5 years after its completion, unless the contractual requirements of a financier / sponsor specify otherwise.

What are your rights:

• The right to be informed about everything that happens to his personal data, to know what it is used for, to access it, to modify it and to revoke his consent;

• The right to restrict the processing of data

• The right to rectify data if it changes or contains errors;

• The right to be forgotten by deleting data;

Personal data is collected and processed with the explicit consent of the person. The refusal to provide personal data, the request for restricted processing or deletion of personal data entails the impossibility of access or limited access to a certain activity of the Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation, depending on its specificity. Requests for the exercise of the above rights are sent to contact@mihaieminescutrust.ro. The request will be solved by a maximum of 30 days. Each person also has the right to file a complaint about the data controller. The complaint is sent to the National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing.

Personal Data Security

• The data is stored in physical and / or electronic format, depending on how it was collected. Access to the data is secured and is only allowed to the persons mentioned in this document. Third party liability for security and processing of personal data
• The Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation makes every effort to securely transmit the data to third parties mentioned in this document, but does not assume responsibility for the processing and security of data by them.
  
• In situations where through our communication channels we make references to web addresses other than those belonging to the Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation or to events organized by other personal data operators or their proxies, we do not assume responsibility for the method of collection, processing or securing personal data by them.

 

Policy changes

The Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation reserves the right to modify this document, in the sense of improving the practices of personal data protection. The changes will not apply to the data already collected, unless the prior consent of those who provided them is obtained. The date the last changes were made will be published at the beginning of the document.
