These local history documentation workshops will take place in Sighisoara’s neighbourhoods, not only in the Medieval Citadel. The city tour is part of our project Cultfort – Urban Cultural Fortress and will take place in the afternoon at 4:00 p.m. every two weeks as long as the good weather lasts. Once it gets too cold outside, we will stop and resume our visits in the spring as the desire to leave the house returns.
In 2022, we had four tours in the citadel and the lower city: October 13 and 27 and November 10 and 24. We will resume them in the spring of 2023.
More about the project: The Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation in Sighișoara started a new project at the beginning of 2022: CULTFORT – Fortress of Urban Culture, a project financed by SEE Grants 2014-2021 within the RO-CULTURE Program, Call 4 – “Consolidation of cultural entrepreneurship and development of the public audience.” The project lasts 24 months and benefits from a total non-refundable funding of 794,115 lei, 11% of this amount being the Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation’s contribution – of 98,149 lei.
