The time has come to plan the discussion of an attractive topic, such as the cultural strategy of the city of Sighisoara. First, we will meet people with initiative who are active in the cultural life of Sighisoara. Then, we will work together over a coffee in the city. Finally, we will discuss concrete projects…
In our discussions, we rely on the questionnaires already filled in by the organizations and individuals who want to work together. Because education is strictly linked to culture, we will also have with us 2 of the principals of high schools in the city, Joseph Haltrich and Tehnologic no. 1. Our events take place in a beautiful building suitable for our discussions: Hotel Sighișoara. These meetings are part of the Cultfort project – Fortress of urban culture through which we will open the Butchers’ Tower & Bastion as a space for quality cultural events for the people of Sighisoara.
More about the project: The Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation in Sighișoara started a new project at the beginning of 2022: CULTFORT – Fortress of urban culture, a project financed by SEE Grants 2014-2021 within the RO-CULTURE Program, Call 4 – “Consolidation of cultural entrepreneurship and developing audience audiences.” The project has a duration of 24 months and benefits from a total non-refundable funding of 794,115 lei, 11% of this amount being the Mihai Eminescu Trust Foundation’s contribution – of 98,149 lei.
